~Our Story~

Wenatchee Valley Fire Family was born from lived experience and a deep understanding of the unique journey faced by fire service families. As the daughter of a retired fire chief and the wife of a battalion chief with nearly three decades of service, our founder has witnessed firsthand the challenges, sacrifices, and triumphs that come with supporting loved ones in the fire service. The inspiration for this organization grew from a personal commitment to ensure that no fire family feels isolated or unsupported. With the next generation stepping into the fire service and encountering new and evolving challenges—especially around trauma management and community expectations—the need for specialized resources and a strong support network became clear. Wenatchee Valley Fire Family was created to fill this gap, offering a place where fire families can find understanding, connection, and the tools they need to thrive.
